Nice food but the pub itself was filthy and tired looking. The seats had stains all over them and don't look like they've ever been cleaned. The window ledge behind my table had dirty tissues left and there was dust and grime all over it. The toilets had a sewage smell coming from before I even opened the door also which was very offputting. The bar staff looked bored and were not very helpful. We asked for highchairs for our children and were told there were none which was surprising as there is a kids menu so not sure why there is a kids menu but no facilities for kids. Won't be visiting again.
The food was good but frozen roasties and veg on a roast dinner was a bit disappointing. However the food was well cooked and tasted good. Servers were pleasant and welcoming. Food was very reasonably priced. However, I’ve never been to the area before and precooked this as close to hotel I was staying in. Entrance is very unwelcoming and dirty and could do with a good brush outside and maybe a kick of paint on doors
Already reviewed on Aug 2020, but there’s been some improvements! Recently they updated the food menu and added a real ale (Ice Breaker pale ale) on tap. New menu is slightly pricier but looks exciting and tastes great. Also outside area has been expanded, which is very nice if the sun is shining. Very family friendly pub with “pick mix” menu for children, and even a few items for babies.
Stayed nearby and had a couple of drinks one night and some foid the following night. Pleasant well cooked meals, sensible money too. Very friendly service from the bar guy with long hair and beard don't know his name but he's a top guy. Nice pub and would go again if i was in town.

Excellent good value food with friendly helpful staff. A big thank you to the Irish bartender working at the time who helped show us how to use taxi app bolt to get my daughter and her friend to a concert in the O2 forum. Thank you again would recommend x
I cannot say enough good things about this pub. We felt so welcome and had a great evening there. The manager clearly leads by example and all of the staff are amazing. If you want to have a great night out I highly recommend this place.
Just the best place to watch football in Hendon. Ed is a wonderful host and his staff Paul, Laura Nancy to name a few are great. Food is good particularly the burgers. Just a great all round local pub
Just had a lovely meal at the Hendon pub. Staff were quick and very friendly. The food and drinks are very good for the price. Lovely pub and great atmosphere.
