The Hesketh Arms - Tisch reservieren

What a brilliant night it was at The Hesketh Arms, such a friendly and warm atmosphere. We loved everything, the cask ales and the fabulous 'olde-worlde ' character with the living flame fire, the historic beams, the cosy cubbie-holes so you don 't feel croweded and tonight the music was amazing! Everyone up and dancing to the fabulous 909 band! We went with family and at first wanted a drink and a catch-up so it was great that we could hear hear ourselves talk, then when the night went on we were lucky enough to find a space at a table closer to the lively 'vibe ' and joined in with the dancing. A pub that shouldn't claim to offer table service... This is my third visit, and I feel completely invisible. The atmosphere is nice, but don’t expect any table service here. The staff seem disinterested in taking food orders or clearing away plates. You’ll need to go to the bar for everything.

Caution... I was charged £10.15 for a glass of Sauvignon Blanc (at least Zorro wore a mask), and out of six handpumps, only three average beers were available.

The food was excellent, and the service was friendly. The prices are very reasonable, and the menu is well thought out. The atmosphere is nice and comfortable.
