the service was excellent and the ambiente was very good, but eating was very disappointing it was chicken and mushroom cake, but the filling left much to wish, i.e. tasteless and quite economical and the pastry topping was terrible. I didn't complain, because I didn't want to make a stir in front of my partner, but that's the second time that I was really disappointed with my meal. my meal was not a good value for money.
a little disappointed by the approach of the bar staff at the input. meal very tasty, but knives and forks must be replaced. drink was very weak, but beautiful. pudding was very disappointing far too much cream, we were not asked if milk with coffee would like. the hesketh arm has comfortable seats and a beautiful interieur would not return.
with friends visiting for mad dog weeks, and using with a voucher of christmas, we chose the hesketh arms in churchtown for our Saturday evening meal. we were not disappointed because everything was excellent from online booking system to actual eating. the service was first-class and the pub is a characteristic little gem.
Very disappointing meal. My pork was layers of thick white fat which was changed for beef which was also fatty and tough. The yorkshire puddings filled the plate and were obviously frozen and reheated. Bisto gravy! Unfortunately nothing to recommend other than change the chef! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Had lunch here for the first time in years. Pre booked the table . Great food , lovely waitress not rushed at all. It was a bit quiet in the restaurant I didn’t notice any background music. . Would definitely return.
Went for a meal with friends and the food was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere was nice and we could hear each other talking. The staff where very attentive and friendly.
We were late making a booking but it was so easy to book online and we got a confirmation straight away. Everything was excellent and we will definitely be going again soon.

Lots of the food was sold out some of the staff were ready for going home as they had been busy openly speaking about it and not very attentive

"Excellent meal on a last minute reservation. Pizza's really are good and the place has a great atmosphere. I just wish they'd fork out for a RSJ and make the side section open into the rest of the main back of the restaurant."
