first and very important. that is no longer the Indian tor, it is the maharaja and the sign goes on Saturday. that is really important, the Indian tor was the worst Indian take away I've ever used, and I was trying with more detailed critique at that time not since, very disappointed. a few days ago we got another take-down menu through the door and it mentioned cardomon lounge, narborough. I love Indian cuisine and read the menu with glee, all looked good, different and very affordable. I said to my wife: “If only ours take, just around the corner” was such a thing. I rarely write any reviews but I had to on this instance, I ordered Saag (Spinach), Lamb Karai, rice and Garlic Naans, order came very promptly leading to concern. Saag was tasteless, didn't look like traditional Punjabi Saag, I couldn't eat it and...left it. Lamb dish, lamb pieces were very tuff and chewy, there was far too much oil in the dish, I left this also, way too much you can taste it. Naans were not fresh, very rubbery, can't taste garlic, did not taste fresh, it was pre prepared, and in mins to deliver it, it shows it's not fresh at all, Please go back to basics, if I order food I expect it to be made freshly for me, I would not order again, in this day and age with businesses clo...
We live round the corner and to have a bad Indian round the corner in Leicester must be pretty unlucky. Have been a few times, just in case, but every time, very poor. They can not do a no chilli, Indian, which my wife needs...and often food is too salty. They need to go to Aspects for superb no chilli food.

had a great chicken kebab with a fantastic naan. it was not sure that it was prepared on the back because I like to see what happened to my food, but when I got home food, the salat was good and spicy mint was great. Yoghurt was too sweet for my pleasure. kebab was good and at a reasonable price.
Would like to say me and my partner went to the Indian Gate for my birthday. It was a lovely restaurant service was excellent very friendly and very reasonable food excellent we will definitely be back.

Always a very nice nan kebab, loads of meat, separate side salad, very good value for money. And they deliver.
