Consistent service and taste across The Keg chains and I think that's what makes them great. This location was no exception. We had no reservations on a Friday evening but waited 30 mins and got a table. The place is super busy and popular. But service is quick and we got our food within 5-10 minutes. Very as-tu baked garlic shrimp fish, tasty rib steaks as always, Caesar salad was a bit boring but still tasty(no bacon bits) and sauce was more lemony and lighter than other places aka not creamy. This was my first visit to this location and the food was great. However, the seating options were not ideal as they were too close to other patrons or in busy areas, and there were too many children. The bar area should be kid-free. The service was very poor, with used plates sitting on the edge of our table for a long time despite multiple bussers and servers passing by. When we received the bill for $250, the tip amount on the machine included the $25 tax, which shouldn't be factored into the tip. This was my first time at the new oshawa location and although they don't take reservations on Saturday nights, you can call ahead and put your name on a wait list two hours prior to you going there, which I thought was great, almost like making a reservation. Anyways, the entire staff was pleasant and friendly. Our server Curtis was very kind and patient with us. We were a group of 4 ladies. We sat in the bar area which was super busy but we didn't mind the commotion or anything. The food was delicious and came out surprisingly fast! I'm definitely going to this location again.
First time going back to this location post renovations and post pandemic shutdown. It's so modern and lux now! With all of the pandemic spacing and plexiglass dividers, it feels super private and safe. They're really taking pandemic safety to the next level which i really appreciate. The food was also awesome which I've come to expect from the keg snd they never let me down. Our server was very personable and efficient which I also appreciate. This is a great location and I will definitely return to give them my money. Go here give them your money!!
We had an incredible experience in every way. We were seated promptly in a super clean and stunning interior. The service, steaks, sides, wine, and dessert were all top-notch. We highly recommend The Keg to everyone, especially for special occasions like birthdays or anniversaries. We were thrilled to discover that there is a location in Houston and we can't wait to visit when we return.
We really enjoy visiting the Oshawa location of The Keg, as it has greatly improved since their recent renovations. The atmosphere is consistently fantastic, just like the delicious food they serve. The staff are always helpful and friendly, and we have never had a negative experience while dining at The Keg.
I really appreciate the consistency of the food and service at the keg. Staff is always friendly, from front of the house to servers to their bus boys . The steak and prime rib has always arrived to the table just as I have requested it.
The food is fantastic and the atmosphere is welcoming. The service is exceptional, even when the restaurant is busy. It can be tough to secure a reservation on certain nights due to high demand, but it's definitely worth the effort.
