We visited Canada (Windsor, Ontario) from Detroit last weekend and very much enjoyed walking along the scenic riverfront park on a beautiful day. We capped our day by enjoying an early dinner at The Keg, which is apparently one of a chain of restaurants but was new to us. No problem that we were casually dressed (in shorts).The food was very good: two had steak, I had the pistachio-encrusted salmon, the sides (potatoes and vegetables) and bread were delicious as well. The service was also good. We were too full to try dessert.It's a little expensive, but the exchange rate is favorable, so it wasn't too much. We were in Windsor on a Friday night and the service at the Windsor Riverside Keg was absolutely AWESOME and the food was OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! We arrived around 6:15 for our 6:30 reservation and were seated immediately. It was a cloudy day but we took our chance and sat outside. After our drinks arrived we asked to be moved so we could people watch, see the carnival and a better view of the river. They had absolutely no problem with us moving and we were even able to keep our server!!
Stopped here on a Saturday night without a reservation. The wait was 45 to 60 minutes but the hostess said we could sit on the patio right away. Good choice! It wasn't to hot or sunny and the view of the river and Detroit was good. Food and drinks came out in good time and the steak Oscar was excellent. Everyone had a good time and said that a return visit was definitely in the future.
As always very nice atmosphere, great location, and good food. I do find them to be a bit over priced, as you can go to chucks road house and get grade AAA steaks for $10.00 it's a nice night out and something we do not do regularly. Your looking at $$$ for a quality meal.

This keg location offers great service and delicious food! The view of the river is beautiful especially during patio season and there is plenty of complimentary parking in the attached garage. Definitely recommend this location!
The bartender I forget her name she is tall with long brown hair, she was WONDERFUL!!! Such an angel and so sweet to me! She had a wonderful energy about her and she really was a joy to have for the night.
Is one of my favorite restaurant in town , very good food and fabulous lobster during July lobster festival . You have also a very nice atmosphere there with amazing view
The food is always hot, tasty and satisfying. The waitstaff are always friendly and accomodating. The resturant is always clean and neat.
