It's always great when I go to the keg. For some reason our waiter kept forgetting our order and gave us our steak meal before our appetizer even when we specifically asked for our meals to come later as we wanted to enjoy the time and not be rushed however we were rushed so it was the exact opposite. We were also celebrating a birthday no where from the host to the end of the night did anyone mention it nor were we offered the Billy miner. This Vitter was very odd as I have never experienced a waiter from the keg who gave service like you were at swiss chalet. It was an interesting experience. Hopefully this is a one off, I would usually speak to the manager but we decided not to this time...
This Keg is so popular, it is often crowded, so reserve! Consistently good food, and terrific staff. Great ambiance, great pictures on the walls. I have only one complaint: why did head office decide to downgrade the quality of the iconic mint candy with chocolate centre? There is so little chocolate left, you can barely taste it. And this is after they reduced the chocolate some years ago that candy used to be legendary. So shortsighted: spoiling a great signature treat that advertised the Keg so well just to save a few bucks. That candy is bland and generic now, no longer a Keg signature.
We had a fantastic dinner! The Keg was as busy as ever, but despite the crowd, we received excellent service. I ordered the classic prime rib, and it was the best roast beef I've had in a long time—tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly rare. Delicious! The portion size was great, too; I really dislike restaurants that charge a lot and serve only a tiny amount of food. And of course, we enjoyed the bread and celebrated my friend's 75th with the famous Billy Miner pie!
The Keg Leslie Street is our go to restaurant when we have big celebrations. Quality of steak is consistent and service always great. Our server, Filip was awesome. One guest who is vegetarian ordered the vegetarian meatloaf and said it was too salty. The red sangria we ordered was also average at best. I've been visiting this location since the 1980s, and it has consistently maintained its quality. Although it has undergone a few renovations over the years, the food and customer service have always remained excellent. While it may not be quite on the same level as Ruth's Chris, the difference in quality is mirrored in the pricing. Overall, it offers great value for your money.
We frequently visit this location and are always impressed with our experience. The food is great and Joe is fantastic. He always remembers what we like. He engages my 5 year old son in meaningful conversation. He really has made this an experience that we look forward to having every few months. Service was very slow,steaks was not cooked to our desired my granddaughter asked for well done and it came with full blood my wife asked for medium well and came with full of blood and they waited and started eating after I finished,they didn't compensate us with any thing
I always have an amazing dining experience at the Keg, and I've been a loyal patron for years! The food and staff are exceptional. The only downside during this visit was the presence of numerous fruit flies buzzing around us and our food, drinks, and table. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
We love coming to the Keg, food is always delicious and service is outstanding the Keg Classic Teriyaki Steak is my favourite, cooked exactly as requested, a coffee and Billy Miner pie as a closer is perfection.
