I would give 4.5/5 if I could but... Food was great (I ordered steak and lobster tail with fresh veggies) and was super delicious. Ambiance was great however, my wife and I were celebrating our Anniversary and usually: 1) they ask if we'd like to sit in lounge or dining area 2) ask us if we're celebrating any special occasion (which we were) 3) butter for our lobster tail was not heated prior to us getting our full meal (usually the butter is placed in advance so that it has had time to melt) 4) in the past, we are offered a complementary Billy Miner's Pie [again, not a gripe... just perhaps change in restaurant policy] Matt and the rest of the Keg service were great; prompt with our drinks...
I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. Our server, Clayton, was exceptional when it came to both food and drinks. I can't speak highly enough of his professionalism and attention to detail. He frequently checked on us, offered hot towels during our meal, and was very knowledgeable about the wine and cognac selection. We also enjoyed some great conversation with him. To top it all off, he brought us a complimentary dessert for our special occasion (which is not something all locations do) and even re-corked our wine. I will definitely be returning to this location soon!
My partner and I visited The Keg for the first time to celebrate several recent achievements, and it was an outstanding experience. The food was delicious, and although the prices may be a bit higher than at other restaurants, the exceptional service and hospitality made it absolutely worth it! Our server, Nikki, did an excellent job ensuring we had everything we needed, and we are particularly grateful to the manager, Anthony, for going above and beyond to provide us with a truly five-star experience. We will definitely return to celebrate future occasions!
Had an excellent time. Went early on a Friday and sat on the patio. Can't believe I haven't been to The Keg before. I ordered the Filet and my wife got the Prime Rib. Both were cooked to perfection. They were melt in your mouth excellent! I enjoyed mine with an elevated Rye and Ginger, and it was quite tasty. With restaurants reopening in Ontario, we decided to check out this new Keg location. The staff were incredibly friendly, and our server, Nicole, was fantastic. I ordered the top sirloin, and it was cooked to perfection. I recommend trying the steak "Chicago" style. My favorite is the teriyaki sirloin, but unfortunately, they didn’t have it last night. Their pie is absolutely amazing too!
Great place reminiscent of Ruth Chris Steakhouse. Intimate setting and a great selection of meat, sea, and field. Steak was very well cooked, seared just enough to provide some crispy edges. Salad came crisp with flavorful cheese and fresh dressing. Veggies were delicious as well. Twice baked potatoes are a must at The Keg.
Impeccable service by our server Cassandra. Chris was also such a lovely gentleman who offered to take a picture of my sister and I. Will definitely return because of them and of course the food was amazing. Solid 5 stars. Thank you for such a wonderful experience ??
The rib eye steak was delicious. Ordered it Chicago style which was a touch too charred but still edible. The fried calamari was good but the pieces were small. Not worth the $18 price tag. This location was definitely better than the Dixon location. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
