Really lovely restaurant at Stoke Park Country Club. The decor is modern country house. The staff are friendly and efficient, without being snobby, as often happens in 'posh ' places. For starters we had the goats cheese mousse disappointing) chicken and leek terrine so good it was scoffed before we had a chance to share) and the squid with chilli sauce which was excellent and a very large portion. For mains, two of us opted for steak, with my rare steak being one of the best I've ever had in terms of tenderness and flavor. The other member of our party ordered the confit of duck, which was flavorful but could have been more tender. The dessert menu offered a variety of options which we enjoyed, including cheese boards, raspberry pannacotta, and mango and passionfruit cheesecake. The afternoon tea experience at this restaurant was disappointing, with average food and subpar service. Despite being advertised as a "Halloween" tea, there was very little thematic elements to it, and the menu did not fully match what was received. The only attempt at a Halloween touch was writing "RIP" on the brownies. The atmosphere was lacking in Halloween spirit and the service was not attentive, with servers failing to check on the customers. Overall, the food was rated a 3, service a 2, and atmosphere a 3. There is plenty of parking available, with free parking options in the parking lot. The price per person for this experience ranged from £20 to £30.

I have visited this restaurant for Sunday lunch and bottomless wine with friends and family multiple times. It continues to be a top choice! The value for money is fantastic, the setting and staff are great, and the food is consistently excellent, particularly the roast beef. The house wines, especially the red, are top quality, and the white is also very good. The staff are excellent at offering alternatives for non-wine drinkers. Afternoon tea was mediocre and the service was subpar. Even though they advertised the tea as “Halloween” there wasn’t really much Halloween about it and the menu online didn’t match completely to what received. Beside an attempt to write “RIP” on the brownies there was really nothing Halloween about this tea besides it was dead inside (and yet the servers never checked on us). Service: Dine in

Absolutely delicious food! The chef is really to be commended on the food he sends out, both in terms of presentation and flavour. A beautiful gem that has so much to offer. We will definitely be returning given items on our doorstep! Well done to all staff there
