eat so good they want to eat it from the floor. not only do that these youngs seriously do good eating (I never ordered anything I didn't love), they also return to their community. only this year they donated collections for the bushfires of the Kangaroo Island; in recent times, a pay it forward meal / coffee system for health workers and men struggling after losing their work of Covid-19 closures. but back to eat. Three ladies over the age of 45 came for a lunch catch-up on a Friday. The restaurant was busy but not hectic. We were seated at a table within 5 minutes. The crowd mostly consisted of workers and moms with strollers. My turmeric latte was decent, although I have enjoyed better elsewhere, but it could have just been my mood. The ambiance was modern and trendy. The rear parking was convenient, mostly covered. The service was quick and friendly. The food portion was just right and very delicious. Great little place in my local area with just enough theme to make it quirky but not over the top and corny. I come here fairly regularly now for lunch and the occasional Saturday brekky, the Ricotta Hotcakes with banana, bacon and butterscotch are sensational...as is the BLAT (Bacon, Lettuce, Avocado and Tomato) toasted sandwich with fries. If you're after something lighter they do a great Caesar Salad and the Steak salad is my favourite. My vegan friend is a big fan of the Roast Veggie and Quinoa Salad. Coffee is excellent also.
I've been coming here for a while, and its hidden away behind a medical lab? on Payneham Road. Its an odd loaction but has excellent parking. The food is always good and the coffee always excellent! This morning i had a late breakfast Eggs Benny,...and possibly the best I've had in Adelaide for many years. As you can see my plate is clean. You'll enjoy the whimsical yet undersated details using lab equipment too. A good one to keep in mind, whether dining alone with a friend or for a meeting. I've been there in every scenario. I had some medical tests diagonally compared to lunchtime and asked the prescriptionist to recommend all neighboring caffes and she would recommend only the lab. visited for a weekday lunch and it was comfortable full. had a delicious huhn caesar salat that was to die. because waitress was a young petty Asian woman who was excellent (it is rare that they see good service in caffes in adelaide). must go back and try the coffee!
I met a few friends for lunch, didn't even know it was there. great search, service 100%, eat 100%, personal 100%. only open for breakfast and lunch, delicious menu, only something is not served alcohol. but have a great smoothie and fresh juice choice. would be very...come and many parking spaces on the road. I'll be back, but I'll get to the breakfast.
we wanted to stop here since it opened. quick hold for coffee and pick up one. the coffee as expected was excellent. the table had also a ham a cheese croissant and brownie. the croissant was fantastic warm big cheese and sink and not flattered like other caffes. the brownie also excellent. great personal excellent decoration a real cool caffe.
enjoy a nice lunch of burgers and the whole day breakfast. soba and vego selection, plus great cake. all the utensils in the laboratory are laboratory equipment, for an unusual touch. off street free undercover parking a real bonus. also has small outside area. simple, comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. I had never heard of this restaurant before, but it exceeded my expectations. The coffee was great and the extra boost juice was exactly what I needed. The decor was unique with an interesting collection of laboratory equipment. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing.
