To anyone putting one star for complaining about them not putting it on social media, after they just changed it on here to temporarily closed, understand this is a SMALL business. They are opening up another shop right now. Remodeling this one. They’re busy. To put 1 star on a shop who fixed their hours on google is lame. Just messing up their stars at this point to prove a “point”. There’s two google store accounts, one says temporarily closed. Maybe they don’t have access to this one. Let’s just help them out and click the “suggest an edit” button to let google know it’s temporarily closed? That’s what I did. Ordered ahead for take out for the first time and it was so easy and they were very nice over the phone. Arrived and went in to pick up the order, the staff was very nice. Ordered the different flavored empanadas, a pastry, and the rice/beans side; OMG it was all so good! My husband is somewhat picky and he ate 2 of the 3 flavors of empanadas. My 7yo loved the rice and beans, we shared and he ate 80% . The pastry was so soft and flaky and just the right amount of sweetness! We will definitely be back.
Just leaving a review to offset some of the unnecessary/ melodramatic one star reviews. The best Cuban food I've ever had, and just some of the best food in Virginia Beach period. Can't wait until they reopen, I literally have it on my calendar to check if they have lol.
Ordered delivery and the Empanadas were amazing and arrived hot and fresh. The Empanadas are stamped with letter so you know which filling is inside. I definitely plan to try other menu items when I return. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Very incompetent and non professional to not announce that the business is closed temporarily. The fact they not saying anything on social media or update Google blows my mind.
Finally, an authentic Cuban Restaurant in the tidewater area. I felt like I was in South Florida. The cafe, pork, Cuban bread was all phenomenal. I went 2x in a wknd.
Checked the hours, drove there from south Chesapeake only to find a handwritten sign in the door “closed for remodeling”
