I'm a massive steak lover and when I spotted this place walking down a side street I had to try it.
Decor was different but not what you would expect from a steak house. We got told that they had no tables available and offered us a tall table with stools ----- how awful .... I told them we would be finished in a hour , so they offered us a normal table, even though the premises looks quite large our chairs were touching the chairs of the table behind us ... the place was very quite for the 1.5 hours that we were there. So not sure what the no tables line was all about.
Group of 3 hungry males ordered two of the calamari for the entree, seriously there was only a mouth full for one perso...

Great little restaurant, rusty and cosy. However my first steak was over done-remember this is a steakhouse and advertise in their menu how they cook steaks, my second steak was rare-I’d asked for med/rare. My third steak-spot on and delicious. My husband had the ribs and they were very tasty. The staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. However after waiting 20 mins for our dessert we left without it. Would I go back-absolutely because the food was great as were the staff. Just a hiccup with the steak that was sorted without hesitation
We booked a table for 7:30pm and arrived at 7:20pm. After being seated, we waited 40 minutes for service to order a drink. We ordered drinks and food at the same time. The food finally arrived at 8:50pm, without one of the side dishes. The busy staff were apologetic, but due to either lack of enough staff or incompetent systems it was not the great experience we were hoping to celebrate our Anniversary. This was our second visit, but we won't be returning based on our experience this evening.

Really enjoyed dining at The Little Hunter, great atmosphere & great food, steaks were amazing!! My only complaint was the garlic sauce was so runny, thicker sauce & it would be full marks from me!!! Would be nice also if there was a bit more lighting out the front of the restaurant to draw people in & create a welcoming feel !! But inside is so beautifully decorated with a real industrial feel, loved it - will definitely be recommending to all my friends!!
The food was above average . We had the lamb chops and eye fillet as well as the sherwagyu rump steak. The fries were crispy and the sides especially the rocket pear and parmesan salad was a great side dish to have . They have a good selection of wines. Only issue is they were quite understaffed and we had to wait to get our orders taken and our drinks to be served.
Excellent food but the waiting staff needed more training. Arrived for a booking at 5.50pm Friday night and it was still quite so no excuse that we had to ask for service at 6.30pm! Bar service was slow too, beer wine arrived at the same time as the starter. Staff were stood around rather than working.
Terrible service. Average food. Read other reviews all say the same thing. Even the tables around us were unhappy with the service. Drinks don't arrive or if they do they are warm, or you have to ask for them multiple times. In general terrible service experience.

For some reason they gave me a steak knife. Totally unnecessary, the steak was cooked perfectly and could have eaten it with a spoon. Excellent ambience and prompt and friendly service. Highly recommend
the little hunter was a great night when we took children and they could get a child's meal. the atmosphere and the service were great. we enjoyed eating and the variety on the menu.
