I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food at this restaurant. I had initially thought it was just a bar and had never considered it for a meal, but I was mistaken as the food was really good. The menu had a wide variety of options including fish tacos, burgers, ribs, fish and chips, liver and onions, chicken, and salads. I ordered a burger with bacon, mushrooms, fried onions, and a perfectly cooked patty. I also had homemade spinach and sausage soup which was delicious. After a road trip to Barrie. It was a really good decision to stop here. It has a nice cozy feeling for the place. The pub that seems to visit many locals and collect for a design and a chat at the bar. There was no problem finding a TV in your view if you want to feed the game like you. We ordered the special wing and ribbing combo. Everything was excellent. The wings were really good and the ribs were very delicate. And Lily our server was very attentive and polite. She did a great job. We will return to this from the beaten path Gemstone.
During our visit to friends in the small town of Cannington, Ontario, we dined at the Locker Sports Bar on Main Street. The establishment was clean and cozy, with multiple TVs showcasing various games. The staff was friendly, courteous, and attentive to our needs. The food was exceptional and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend stopping by for a meal in this town. While I didn't give it 5 stars solely for the food, the overall experience at this small town sports bar exceeded my expectations.
This place is a cross between family restaurant and local pub. They have quite a few beers on tap, a varied menu that includes typical pub fare as well as some unexpected items like perogies, schnitzel and salmon. I visited The Locker for the first time and had a great experience! The food was amazing, with generously sized portions that will satisfy any appetite. Our server, John, was friendly and efficient. The restaurant takes COVID protocols seriously and has done a great job incorporating clear barriers into their decor and layout. We will definitely be returning!
My husband and I were heading to cottage country on a busy Friday afternoon and decided to check out Cannington for a late lunch. Several choices and we picked The Locker. Best fish tacos I have ever had. Husband had a burger, obviously freshly home...made. No frozen burger here. Great fast service. Highly recommend. Good variety on menu. Try the onion rings!
I was surprised and pleased that The Locker, located in what once was a real meat locker, now serves good food: salads, quesadillas, beefy hamburgers and so on. The place is licensed, so there's a choice of wine and beer. While is used to be...a noisy sports bar, it's now a quiet place for conversation with friends. I recommend it.
I had chicken quesadillas with sour cream salsa. It was the best salsa I have ever tasted. My husband had the beef dip the roast beef was tender juicy. Great salads and starters, and I especially love their prime rib. They change the menu up often but you can always find your favorites there, so it;s a mix of old standards new things Staff are super nice.
