The restaurant has stunning views of the golf course and mountains and is a lovely room to dine in. I always tend to leave feeling like the food was just okay, nothing great. Last week I had French soup and it came with all these...soggy croutons on top of the soup and a tiny bit of cheese instead of it being loaded with a toasted french bread and a ton of cheese. It had too many onions and the broth was lacking in taste. We had to keep adding salt to it. The croutons used presented a very cheap picture of the $9 cup of soup. I have had great French Onion soups but would never order this again. I also think that when ordering a $15 burger it should at least come with fries, not have to pay a...
the location for dinner is practical for us, with a view of the golf course (except in winter) with consistently good eating. the last time we went, we had a steak and lobster special, which was not huge, but satisfying and favorable. The only problem...is that it is high-time receptions at the same place that are often loud, and since the restaurant is flat on an open mezzanine, they can be an intruder. Actually, I can't think of one time that there was not at least one and in which there were several receptions, so if they were looking for a quiet intimate evening dinner, this could not be the best choice. the service can also be a little hectic, possibly because the recordings are operate...
There is a sign posted on the side of the golf club advertising a Happy Hour, however, it is very easy to miss. We have been to the loft before and are well aware of the spectacular view from the second floor location. Not surprising...there were very few people there. Our server was friendly and very efficient. There is a daily drink special and a limited HH menu: poutine, sliders, jalapeño poppers, and edamame. Each $5. The domestic beer is $4. We had the poppers and sliders; both were good. The view of the golf course and the north shore mountains make a great backdrop.
The Loft at Meadow Gardens offers stunning views of the golf course, a diverse menu at affordable prices, and convenient location right off the highway. Our group of 7 diners from various parts of the lower mainland enjoyed a delicious lunch with excellent service. We tried a variety of menu items and ended up taking home leftovers because we couldn't finish everything. We look forward to returning in the future.
My partner and I had a fantastic experience at The Loft recently. We tried the amazing Sunday night rib dinner for $39.00 and it was truly outstanding. The portions were generous, the presentation was top-notch, and the flavor was delicious. The staff were attentive and made us feel comfortable in these uncertain times. I highly recommend this restaurant.
We have been to the Loft a few times for dinner, were hoping that their advertised happy hour would be worthwhile. Not the case. Very small selection of appetizers and equally small number of drink selections. If management is wondering why attendance is poor, need...to provide a bigger selection all around. We won't be back for this event.
Unless things have changed recently, I found the service very slow and the food only adequate. The prices are probably appropriate for the golfing crowd. I have been to this venue with another couple and also with a large crowd. I have not returned recently...because of price and service.
The Loft is a great place to grab a bite to eat after a round of golf. With a variety of menu options and a lovely ambiance, it's perfect for outdoor dining post-golf or indoor gatherings. The service staff are friendly and personable, and the food is good.
we ate here last night. Eat was good, the prices were not too bad. Eating was coming a little slow, but waitress made sure we got up. Overall, I would recommend it for a romantic dinner. look at the golden ears and the golf course. are beautiful!
