Yes I liked this one also. Internally there is a traditional public bar to the front with a more modern conservatory/dining room with an open kitchen at the rear, then a garden beyond here. Clearly there is a focus on food, but the front original pub building with its main front bar and two sections either side still retains very much a pub feel and it seemed to be the sky lighted extension beyond that functions as the main dining section. I initially sat underneath the world map in the left hand section, but you do get quite a lot of noise from the diners in the extension when it is full, as it was for my visit back in December just prior to one of England’s important football World Cup gro...
Excellent part of our visit to nearby ABBA Voyager Arena. Good grub and value for money. Excellent place to meet up with rest of family before attending ABBA Voyager concert. Don't know if our journey was the easiest but it worked for us. Used Satnav to drive to The Lord Tredegar need ULEZ compliant car or pay the fee don't know what fee is though . Arrived about 4:00PM and easily found street parking down a side road that we could pay for. Most parking is residents only but a number allow payment by phone. Only need paying up to 5:30pm. Free after that. Cost about £11 ! but didn't have to pay for DLR or tube to the ABBA Arena from cheaper parking so saved there. Had a meal at the Lord Trede...
if they ever wanted to know where the mary faculty goes for drinks after lectures, that is it. there is a very high chance to meet a few drunk professors there, so if they are a queen mary student, they can keep this in the eye the pub itself is hidden from the main road near the mile end and does not look like much from the outside. in the interior of the hide 3 good rooms and a garden area, so it is ideal for large groups the staff is friendly and there is a good selection of drinks. the kitchen is exposed in the rear room so that they can see while their food is prepared. but I had nothing this time so I can't say if it's good, I don't think it's a place where you... read more
I came here for my leaving drinks, we were made so welcome, nothing was too much trouble. Excellent selection of beers and soft drinks, I didn't look at the wine list. Great selection of snacks and small bites on the menu. The beer garden at the rear of the pub is a fabulous sun trap. We all agreed this was a fantastic pub to spend a few hours in. Perfect! Probably the best burger I have ever had! Really nice pint of milk stout to go with it. Service was excellent. We sat outside under the canopy and they came out to put the heater on for us. Inside, two fires were burning- the room at the back looked especially cosy with board games and chairs by the fire. Great experience.
I love the lord tredegar! great pub atmosphere, here have some beautiful glasses wein and also eat. had the bowls (amaaaaaaaazing and another time of the burger- all delicious and good pub grub. all staff are super nice and helpful! dear, friends bring. in any case!
Came here today for my brothers birthday. Such a warm and lively atmosphere. The bar staff were very friendly and efficient. The service is slow, but was in no hurry. Food was plentiful and delicious.

New owners as of November. The previous owner was a chef and you can certainly feel his absence. But the food is ok still and they still do a very hearty...
