after we lived almost next to the lost young and had many disappointing experiences, so we stopped visiting. after the last lockdown we decided to go back in the hope that our experience would be much improved. to our surprise there was a 100% change so much so that we booked for Christmas lunch. the service was just getting better and the same personal to see gave us confidence that there is finally consistency and beautiful to see a familiar face. we have regular eating there once a week even with a favourite table and as a disabled person it is nice to sit on the usual table and their disabled facilities are on place. there was a change in the administration and graham the general manager...
brilliant amount of vegan options. they had pizza, arabieta, meatballs, sausages, sunday roasts, salads, flafels and meatburgers. they also had sticky toffee pudding and chocolate budino. the meatball pada was beautiful, not typically processed fake meat, but still very beautiful. the nourishing shell salad was ok, but the avocados were under ripe and brown. they also make a nice vegan latte for £2.70 only critique there was a separate vegan menu, which means it was a bit difficult to navigate the large menu. Vegan has been clearly marked in addition to any relevant option.
We booked a table for ten for a work event in the evening, despite the constant rain. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and our lovely waiter, Samuel, was attentive throughout the night. My only criticism is that the items served with chips seemed a bit small, but that didn't detract from our experience. I had the pasta with chicken, and it was amazing—so good that a few of us decided to indulge in dessert as well. Overall, the food was delightful and truly mouthwatering. I loved it and will definitely be back!
I visited on a Monday night, anticipating a quiet atmosphere, but it was surprisingly full. The ambiance was wonderful, and the food was quite tasty. However, my meal arrived much earlier than my husband's, which was a bit disappointing and required some follow-up to get his. Aside from that, we enjoyed the food, and overall, we had a lovely evening. Thank you!
I had a wonderful meal at this restaurant! The pizza oven is fantastic, producing delicious pizzas. The other dishes are quite good as well. The establishment has a cozy atmosphere reminiscent of an Italian restaurant. There’s plenty of seating available, including some lovely spaces like a garden. I would definitely recommend it to others!
decent vegan brekkie, large portion size so beautiful and filling (which is always a big one for me! have already managed to get a place twice at the weekend and always it is a big place. they also do a vegan wormbap, which I also tried and is beautifully forgotten to take a picture though. beautiful setting!
Very nice inside with a large outside seating area. The staff were friendly and attentive. We encountered a slight issue but was resolved quickly, and professionally. The food was good and well priced. Overall we had a pleasant time, and it's worth giving the place a try.
really great breakfast experience here! our two dishes were excellent, the eggs were made perfect! the waiter was nice! all round would recommend and can not wait to try dinner there!
