We finally tried The Forge with an order of chicken alfredo, mozzarella sticks, and fried mushrooms. Overall the food was hit or miss, but what hit was delicious. The mozzarella sticks are the best ones in this whole town, hands down. Great marinara sauce, too. I will order them again and again. The fried mushrooms were fairly decent for having a soft external crust (slightly disappointing), but the ranch they're served with is amazing and very dilly. 1st time there for Dinner today. Got there before it got busy : Greeted promptly, service was GREAT. Appetizer Potato Skins were very good, sliced thin and plenty of toppings, (could use a bit more Sour Cream Both entrees were excellent, Chicken Masala Pork Schnitzel, mashed potatoes sauted veggies that came with them were Excellent. Snickerdoodle with Ice Cream was a great ending. Took a piece of Raspberry Cheesecake home as I was very full from our meal. Mandy is a very attentive waitress and very pleasant. We will definitely be going back and taking friends and family with us Thank you to The Forge!!
Great service and excellent food. We just had dinner here for the first time. It was a nice surprise. We started with the loaded potato skins. Crispy skin strips with lots of cheese and bacon. Very good. For mains, one of us had the pork schnitzel and the other had the Marsala. Also very good. For dessert we shared the warm snickerdoodle with vanilla ice cream. The food was excellent!!!!!! I had dinner at The Forge two days in a roll and would have gone back if I was still in town!!!!!!!! I highly recommend the Pork and Chicken Schnitzel !!!!!!!!!! Yummy food, basic American fare. Cozy, welcoming environment, friendly staff, and fair prices. Definitely needed in this area, I hope they stay for a long time. Wheelchair accessibility: There's accessible ramps, but the door doesn't have electric operations and is tricky to maneuver a chair over the threshold (bump) and hold the door open. Service: Dine in
