Extremely disappointed with our festive lunch yesterday Our group of four didn't enjoy our food....cold....the salmon dry the potatoes not cooked....the turkey dry the pig in blanket overcooked....the mash awful. ....the choc cake broughtt not home made...the cream sour....and theirmeals used to be high sandard.......not a good recommendation from us..will mit be re visiting maybe non chef was on tbe sauce Price per person: £30–40 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
Called here while on a circular walk for refreshments. Had a roast baguette and a pint of Wainwright's. Baguette with beef was served with a couple of roasties, two stuffing balls, gravy and horseradish simply delicious! Both food and beer was sensibly priced.
