First off, I'll concentrate on the social experience as a whole. Never been before, so knew not what to expect. Parking is easy – if the car park is full, there’s plenty of space on the side road, which itself isn’t busy (it’s the lane leading up to the start of East Midlands Airport’s runway). We were made to feel right at ease by the girls as soon as we set foot inside. Our pre-booked table was already prepared and drinks order taken once settled. But there was no rush at any point throughout the evening – meals were served at a steady pace, and plates taken away all in good time. I visited this restaurant for the first time for a quick drink and pizza. The atmosphere was nice and the place had great potential as a pub. However, I was disappointed with the service and the quality of the food. Even though there were only 4 other tables, it took 50 minutes for our pizza to arrive. When it finally did, it was the worst pizza I have ever had. The sauce tasted like a tin of tomatoes and there was an overwhelming amount of cheese on top. It was so heavy and greasy that I couldn't even pick up a slice without it falling apart.
This restaurant is absolutely fantastic! From the warm welcome to the delicious food, our entire evening was wonderful. I highly recommend this place. The staff were friendly, helpful, and funny, and the food was amazing. The menu offers a great variety, and everything we ordered was delicious. The lasagna was the best I've ever had, and my partner's steak was also excellent. We have dined at many amazing places, but the food quality here is outstanding. Thank you for a lovely and memorable evening. We will definitely be coming back regularly.
Ever since the bistro had a new owner, the overall experience has greatly improved. They offer a wide variety of items on their menu, and during the pandemic, they have been serving delicious and affordable meals. The staff is incredibly friendly and provides quick service. Lovely dog friendly pub with friendly staff. 26 of us for a Birthday meal. Meals arrived promptly. Everyone remarked on the excellent quality of the food. The sirloin steak was probably the best steak meal I've ever experienced. Delicious. Wife had gluten free lasagne which was also delicious.
I had luncheon at this pub restaurant on Sunday I had the chicken bad mistake as later that evening started to feel very unwell being violently sick never felt so ill then I got diarrhoea I've had to lose time off work absolutely appalling, the service wasn't good either?
I have been here twice now and both times have loved the food and always find the service friendly and helpful. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone a good meal out.

had an ale pie only carrot in it i mentioned this to a young boy but he said thats how it should be think on awful lot of young inexperienced people
