Lamb lollipop 1 star) The interior space is very spacious and elegant with a lot of fine detailing in the walls, the chandeliers, and even the bathroom. The service is also excellent--we were greeted promptly at the door without a reservation and seated in an area to our liking. The ONLY good things about my brunch experience at The Manor were the Drag show and our server, Shaylie. Brooklyn Heights and the other queens put on an amazing show and Shaylie went above and beyond given the completely unprofessional lack of management at this restaurant. To start, I scheduled reservations in November that had to be rescheduled to December. I had to call 5 times to get a refund as only one owner has access to do so. This place had been on my restaurant bucket list for awhile. The restaurant is beautiful and located in Mount Vernon. You will find a trendy hipster vibe here, along with an adorable bartender named Brent and very friendly servers. My party of four began with cocktails and the Mediterranean Board. The ambiance of this restaurant is amazing. Very cute inside, very moody. However, we had the winter restaurant week special and I wasn’t impressed. The crab dip wasn’t very good, very bland. The buratta wasn’t great either. Our waitress was not very good and didn’t attend to us as much as we wanted. We were thirsty a lot of the time and would have ordered more drinks if she was more attentive. She also made our checking out process difficult. Our group didn’t split the bill and we were so frustrated with figuring out how to add everything up that we lost our buzz and just went home early for the night. The ambiance at this place is exceptional, very charming. Our wait staff were very friendly, responsive, and knowledgeable about the history of the space. The only thing lacking was the food, unfortunately. My dinner partner ordered two items from the tapas menu that she ultimately returned, and we were not impressed when our request for bread for the table brought us one solitary slice of toast. Yes, toast. We'd go back in a heartbeat for the ambiance and for drinks, but not for the food.
I visited this place ones before for an event. And this past weekend on a late sat evening we came back. This place doesn't fail with great music great dancing vibes and fun friendly people. Bartenders busy but friendly. If you want to dance your night away. This is a friendly fun place. LGBQ friendly and all welcome. It has multiple levels and i ll post videos from the inside. This place has a nice vibe. Came on a Saturday and it was pretty empty. Apparently the best time to come is during their drag brunches. But we still enjoyed our drinks and apps. It’s in a perfect part of town. Will be back.
Service was bad they we're out of 4 of the drink choices. Very understaffed.
