This charming little restaurant has a lot of character. The onion soup was delightful, topped with nicely browned cheese. My wife enjoyed her seared scallops and risotto, which were excellent. My son and I both ordered burgers—he went for a medium rare, while I asked for mine medium. Unfortunately, both were served well done. Despite that, they were still tasty, though they could have been exceptional if they hadn’t been overcooked. The bacon was high quality, and the fries were good as well. The service was friendly and attentive. Overall, a lovely dinner experience.
Are you looking for a comfortable neighborhood place where you can enjoy a good meal, a well concocted beverage and sit in a pleasant and attractive atmosphere? NJ Bar and Grill may be for you. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is owned by the same people as before, but now has upgraded chefs and has installed a new manager as well (much to the benefit of this restaurant). Gone is the DJ yelling at you over dinner, Thank God!! We’ll be back soon. Burger was great. (Please no more DJ)
You have to check this place out! My husband and I have been coming here weekly lately. Everything — the food, the service, the atmosphere — is just perfect. It's officially our favorite spot; the food is incredibly tasty and high-quality! Plus, Vinny, the general manager, has been around and is such a friendly guy! You can really see his dedication to this place, and it makes a difference. We'll definitely be returning, probably next week! Keep up the great work, everyone!
The food was decent, but my grilled tuna entrée was drenched in oil—more than necessary. We ordered dinner to go, and I had to pour out a pool of oil from the bottom of the container. It was hard to enjoy my meal since I had to wipe off each piece of food individually. Additionally, they forgot to include the fries that came with my husband's sandwich, but he should have checked before leaving the restaurant. Service: Takeout.

I've visited a few times and have consistently received excellent service. The food has been outstanding on every occasion. I included a picture of my meal, although I couldn't resist digging in before snapping the photo! Rob and Jess were incredibly attentive and friendly. Started going back there. Under new MGMT Owners. Good local place. Met Vinnie the owner mgr. He is very accommodating. Maybe this place that has changed owners and has been open and closed erratically may finally found it's niche. Wish them well! Arrived a little after 5,still plenty of seating. The restaurant is quaint and friendly. Vinny(manager)and Nicole(server) were fantastic. Food was beyond excellent, from chicken wings and meatball appetizers to our tasty but simple burgers. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
