From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave, the experience is wow. Walking in to a light, bright atrium filled with happy people, smiling and enjoying the food as much as the company. The staff was bubbly, knowledgeable, and helpful while giving us the chance to relax and choose the flow of our meal. The menu was diverse and interesting rarely do I have trouble choosing a dish these days! The trout was a show stopper. Bright, light, perfectly cooked fish with fresh herbs, some citrus, and vegetables to add texture without taking away from the star. Why the steak? I asked, since you can order it anywhere. Very cool spot in the heart of dowtown Mobile. Coming from Durham NC so have a very high bar for new south cuisine. We weren’t too hungry so opted for some apps (deviled eggs and pickled shrimp) and the heirloom tomato/peach salad. Pickled shrimp were tasty— but maybe should have come with house made crackers over out of the box saltines. The salad was a star— super fresh. Summer on a plate. Staff were friendly though I had to ask to make a drink order. Would go back for more when in Mobile.
I love this place! I recently went to the Noble south for dinner with a group of girlfriends for a 50th birthday party dinner. The food was excellent as usual, and the service was spectacular. this is one of our go to places for my family. It is always a joy, and the menu changes as the seasonal foods change. Would highly recommend this for a visitor or a local.
Stopped in for lunch and was seated right away. Ordered a chicken fricassee with squash casserole and melon salad. We also oredered the cornbread stuffed chicken thighs with potato wedges and melon salad. The fricassee wasn't bad it was bland. The other chicken dish was excellent in flavor and preparation. Would eat here again if in the area.
Recently met for a business lunch here and absolutely enjoyed the entire experience! Our server was very attentive and recognized the benefit of promo service during lunch. I chose the vegetable plate (gumbo, squash casserole, brussel sprouts and cornbread) and every bite of food was delicious!
In town for one night. Glad to were able to make it here for lunch. Their cantaloupe salad and cucumber salad were unique and delicious. Same for their Brussels sprouts and blackened catfish. Will be back.
We were there for lunch. Food and service were excellent. We deviled eggs for an appetizer, the Smash Burger and ordered a vegetable plant to share. Highly recommend!
The trout was phenomenal. If you enjoy a surprising flavor profile try noble south. The assortment of vegetables used in meals is also awesome.
A gorgeous experience, these people very much treat food as art...very fine blends, perfect service also. Appropriately named, The Noble South.
