I must say that this restaurant is now under new management, so ignore any reviews before July. I went for the three-course lunch with a pint of delicious cider. The prawn starter, steak main, and fresh cheesecake were all fantastic. The cider was cool and refreshing, served in a lovely glass. I have always loved the Old Glass House in Dudley but heard it was under new management and couldn't wait to try it. The revamp looks lovely! They have done it really well and it looks very modern and pretty! The food was amazing, they have done a really lovely job with the new menu. We had a lovely bottle of red, two starters, two mains and two cocktails and it came to just under £90 which is very reasonable for the quality of the food. It was very quiet for a weekday as expected, but was still really lovely atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and the service was good! I'll definitely be returning again. Had a lovely evening.
great experience tonight in the glasshouse, the restaurant was relatiw quiet as expected in this time in the januar. the menu was a set menu £20 2 courses or £25 3 courses, we had suppe and garlic creamy mushrooms to start and steak and blade of bark for pornstar. dessert didn't want to, but the waitresses were all nice, friendly and friendly. emily was especially nice to talk to and attentive and made the experience a beautiful. we'll be back soon. It's lovely there, the place is spot on, light airy and tastefully decorated. Spotlessly clean and there is a disabled toilet. The food was great and reasonably priced, A 3 course meal costs £14.99 in the afternoon, They do alternative food choices like Vegan and Vegetarian . Walked into a nearly empty restaurant, to be told they are fully booked asked if it was possible to have something small as I'd walked a a bit to try their food... thry weren't aware i had. the waitress went to her manager... her manager came to me and said there will be tables available after 4pm... from what I can see they shut at 4pm on Sundays. Its 1pm and the place is still empty....
The restaurant recently reopened after a full renovation. The new decor is elegant and stylish, adding a touch of sophistication to the historic building. My family and I visited for Sunday dinner and enjoyed a delicious meal with three courses for a great value of £21.95. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and professional. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
it was great. my family is big and we always fight for where we can all eat. we celebrated 2 birthdays. they were so accommodating. the food was absolutely tasty and we had to meet the cook. the only thing was that we don't get a drink menu, but that's not in the way that their employees get nice. We took my mom for her birthday. An old stamping ground as I was at school in St James' Rd. Hugely good value and excellent food quality.
