Okay, I do like this pub, but after my last experience, I have to let visitors know what happened to me and let you decide if you agree or disagree with me. This happened over two days. I had to use the gents loo and was in the cubicle doing what you do. Someone outside decided to throw water over the sort of wall, onto me. When I came out, I complained to the staff, they didn't seem to care, even though the bar is quite close to the door to the toilets. On another visit to the pub, I was just standing at the bar with my pint, when one of the female staff came over to me and started shouting at me, yelling that the staff know what they are doing and telling me to stop ordering them around, w...
We visited a traditional pub that was a bit on the rundown side. We only had drinks, but we had a negative experience when we were charged significantly more than we should have been for our contactless payment on a busy night. When we questioned the manager, they provided a completely different explanation that didn't add up. We eventually received a refund, but it definitely felt like they were trying to deceive us. Be cautious when visiting this establishment.
I have had great experiences at this restaurant in the past, but unfortunately, after accidentally leaving one of my belongings behind and having a friend witness a female staff member take it away at 5:30pm, I called to inquire about retrieving it. The pub claimed they never saw the item. Due to this experience, we have decided not to return to this restaurant in the future.
like this pub a lot, but today when I had to use the gents cubicle, someone threw water over the partition and Laughed about it. I reported it to the bar staff, but they said they couldn't do anything about it. Which I understood. I will still go in there, the pub not the cubicle.

I absolutely love this pub. This is my second time visiting and they always have a great selection of drinks. The food is fantastic, very delicious and tasty. The staff are all so welcoming, friendly, and lovely. I am definitely looking forward to visiting again.
I wanted a pub that catered to the locals, nut us tourists. This is it. Perfect for getting the feel for the people of England. Fish and chips rocked the house. Good people. Definitely a great place to feel like old time England.
As a first time strnager, I had a Glgreat welcome. Plenty of room outside for a warm day and a good selection of beers. A proper pub, in my view. Will definitely be back.
A really nice old pub with plenty of atmosphere. The food was good and wholesome. Music grand not too loud and intrusive. A really good experience.

A very typical british Pub in the heart of London. Very affordable prices, live sports on the tvs, good food, good beer... very lovely!
