First time visit rode my harley after a soccer game was starving. I went to the Old Place for the first time with three friends at the beginning of Juneand then immediately took my family a week later, it was that good. The Old Place has a short menu and does everything on it really, *really* well. I ordered the steak and eggs with potato wedges, and had leftovers for *two* more meals. The portion sizes are immense. We discovered this restaurant on Yelp while looking for BBQ options. They didn't have the typical BBQ dishes, but instead cooked everything on an oak fired grill. The lunch menu seemed reasonably priced for the location, but the dinner items were expensive. After trying the food, we felt that even the lunch prices were too high. The website did not mention a mandatory gratuity, but there was a sign at the window stating that an 18% gratuity was added to all orders, which was surprising. I wanted to like this place. I heard good things. I even did a six mile hike before hand and even being exhausted and hungry. This place fell flat. First of all 18% automatic gratuity for every order. That’s ridiculous. Just include it in your price. Secondly, the food was meh to bad. I ordered the cinnamon rolls which is three medium rolls. The frosting was dull. Cinnabon is cheaper and better. I ordered a pulled chicken sandwich and it was dry. There was an effort to put aioli on the bread but the spread job was awful. You must visit this restaurant! It's perfect for daytime outings with dogs, or for nighttime dates inside. Be sure to make a reservation for an indoor booth or arrive early to grab a spot at the bar. Don't miss out on their Caesar salad, charcuterie board, steak, and baked potato (ask for extra Caesar dressing!) and be sure to try the brothers' wines - red or white, you can't go wrong. NEVER AGAIN!!! Where do I start.... This place is extremely dirty. There are rats running around, flys everywhere. Very overpriced. $16 for a baked potato that wasn't even cooked right. They charge an automatic 20% gratuity even though you stand in line to order and pick up your food when it's ready. Management is also very rude. Totally ridiculous!!!
This restaurant is a classic for a reason - everything is delicious and the atmosphere is always perfect. The live music adds to the fun vibe. Make a night of it, you won't be disappointed!

Good, wholesome food without any fancy, very pricey. Great service and care, Dave is real friendly and welcoming. The inside feels very cosy but unfortunately loud.
