If you have ever been to a major city in Japan you know that every side street has a hidden small restaurant with counter service, a couple tables,and amazing food, and that is what The Other Fish reminds me of. The sushi is amazing but there are other options which are just as great! Watching the shrimp tempura app being hand battered and fried in front of you somehow enhances the flavor. Same with the chicken katsu which may be the best dish on the menu. And don't sleep on the larrel salad which not sure how, but tastes fresher and crisper than any salad I've ever eaten. Plus it helps that the staff is super friendly and it's BYOB.
Best sushi in the area, hands down. BYOB. The garlic tuna app is to die for, and their other dishes are unique and flavorful. It's a small place and you will be squished unless you get the big table in the front, but I liken it to an authentic izakaya-style experience. The service is always prompt and friendly. Food was just ok but then I woke up around 2 am and threw everything up. My guess is bc everything is out in the open and it's a very small place. The staff was really nice so it sucks that they are the only good thing about this place. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
Good sushi rolls with lots of variety on the menu. They also have very good noodle bowls, which are definitely worth a try. They don't have a liquor license, so it's byob. One thing to note, the restaurant is very small, so seating could be difficult for larger groups.

TOF has a relaxed izakaya vibe. Yummy specials. Solid menu. The menu is not expansive, but every item we had was spot on. My nephew is crazy about their gyoza.
