This is a delightful little pub. It's clean and tidy, with an open area filled with tables. To access the restrooms, you’ll need to go up some steps, while the bar is located on the left side, and private booths can be found on the right, with more tables in the central area. There's even a lovely real fire on the right wall. The staff were friendly and polite, although they were likely a bit too busy to engage in much conversation. The Guinness was outstanding!
Went for great value Brunch, sausage and egg muffin was perfect. Service was friendly, bar staff helpful and accommodating. My first time here in a few years… they took the time to explain the coffee self service refill which was helpful. Went in for a quick brekkie, ended up having a few pints too as the atmosphere and place was very relaxing. Will be coming back again soon.
We regularly visit for breakfast or lunch, we always get a warm welcome from the staff. Peter the manager goes over and over very friendly time to speak and leads it like a fine machine! we experienced his care yesterday with an older couple. The team and the food cannot praise enough. Visiting friends in Rickmansworth and chose this place to eat three times because it was so good. Had breakfast once and dinner twice. Really friendly, pleasant and helpful staff. Every single one of them. Great service and excellent food. Plus the usual great value for money you'd expect from Weatherspoon pubs. Why would anyone go to other pubs in the area? 10/10
The burgers are beautiful and the portions are generous. Ordering through the app is simple, and the meals arrive promptly. I highly recommend the fish and chips—they're well-prepared and have a wonderful flavor.
