The kitchen in this place looks fantastic, lots of professional looking staff buzzing around seemingly knowing what they are doing. After waiting over 1 hour for our meals boy were we disappointed! My parma was not just overcooked it was BURNT black on the bottom and the cheese on the top was so burnt it was like something rubber had melted on it - shameful that it ever left the kitchen. The french fries were stone cold and the green salad was a couple of leaves with no dressing on them. The other meal ordered was beer battered fish and whilst the fish was ok the chips and salad were woeful - although i must say not even a slice of lemon or any tartare sauce were with it. Yes it was busy but...
I hang out here quite often, so grateful that this place is my friendly local pub, conveniently located close to home. It has that easy community vibe to it and is also kid friendly ... so if you aren't into kids at pubs, then this ain't the place for you. There are a number of sections, such a good quality restaurant next door, the beer garden out the back, a function space ... and my fave ... the front bar, where you can purchase simple bar food such as wedges, pizzas and chips. The other great thing to note, is that they have cool bands play there, which seem to always be for free. Had a great night there dancing away to 'Nick Murphy's Hardware' on Friday night, seeing sooooo many people...
Went here with my sister for dinner, we wanted something casual and tasty. The Post Office Hotel is a great looking pub and restaurant with various indoor and outdoor seating areas. There's plenty of space to eat and drink but it still has a nice, cosy feel to it. We shared a platter to start with, we were a little underwhelmed by the selection. The flavors didn't seem to complement each other very well. We shared the apple crumble for dessert and it was really delicious. However, it was served in jar that made the food a bit hard to access. I might return to the Post Office Hotel, perhaps I didn't order well.
As a family, we went to this hotel for dinner a year or so ago and were impressed with the quality of the food. Our return this time was disappointing. None of us were impressed by our meals. The staff were pleasant enough but for the price and the quality, we won't be going back.

The Menu looked ok, average to good pub grub. My pork belly was overcooked and the crackling didn't crackle, just tough. The burger ordered by my partner was enjoyed however. They " lost" our desert order. But pleasantly reimbursed. Staff were friendly, which was a saving grace.
The food was quite acceptable but the service was absolutely appalling. We were still waiting for our meals 1 hour after ordering and our table had not been cleared nearly 1 hour after we had finished eating. Just not good enough.
Its a cold and wet day outside but the open fire was very welcoming. The food and staff are excellent. I had the hanger steak it well cooked and accompanied by potatoes and broccoli, yummo.
We got married at the Post Office Hotel and were amazed by their energy, enthusiasm and amazing service. The food was delicious and we will definitely be back many times!

On a cool but sunny Saturday afternoon we had a great afternoon eating fish and beef burgers along with great local and craft beers. Excellent service.
Everything here is great! The parma is our favourite, along with the wine list and beer selections. The service is fast and friendly.
