I was super excited to see this place open, as the spot is quiet convenient. Even though it's design is quiet modern, it doesn't deliver. Music was really loud, not ideal when you are trying to relax and have a chat with your friend, so we had to move outside. Fresh juice and food was alright, noting really to die for but pleasant to eat. Unfortunately, the coffee was gross, I could not finish it. Staff seemed to be disorientated and lost in the whole process. I guess they are still new and are finding their way through customer service.
I visited this cafe last week and thought the atmosphere was great.. the actual temperature inside was a little chilly but I think that's due to their industrial fit out.I had a coffee and the zucchini fritters with a side of chorizo. The fritters where different to what I was expecting, they were more like Turkish zucchini balls but either way they were still tasty.The coffee was made well and overall my experience was good! I walked away satisfied and will definitely return again!
We've been waiting for a more up market eatery in Chisholm for nearly 30 years and Public Place delivers. A quality cafe with good food, an upbeat atmosphere and great coffee. It's family-vegetarian-coeliac friendly so no excuses, just rock up and enjoy yourself. The brekkie menu is excellent and the pulled pork eggs bennie is worth the trip to south Canberra by itself!
So nice to be able to go to academy in the local area that doesn't have a massive ego attached to it.Food is always great. Probably the best eggs Benedict anywhere in Canberra. Mexican burger was delicious. In fact, every meal I've had here has been great.Coffee is good, and you can pay by eftpos with no surcharge.Love the fact that there is all day breakfast

I just bought a sausage roll from here first time I had been and won't be back. See picture attached. The sausage roll was not fully cooked and very mushy no flavour. I contacted them and informed them how I felt! They had the no care fact at all. I asked for a refund and was told no as they only sell quality food made me feel like I was a liar.
The coffee was probably one of the best I've ever had ☕️ They did forget my spinach at first which was a bit disappointing but it was so delicious when it arrived that I forgive them My food came all tumbled together on my plate which is a big no-no for a Kylee but otherwise it was great last time I was here and it's great now
Went in one day before Mother's day, staff were busy preparing for the rush the next day despite being busy they were very welcoming and attentive.It is nice to drop-in for a relaxing coffee/tea or a refreshing drink a small meal or whatever and feel that it's good to be alive!
Came here for brunch with my partner and mother. Had the Big House Breakfast, the food is excellent, so too is the coffee and service. No long waits for food even though it was a busy Sunday morning. It's a little noisy though, and the front door is left open so mind the flies.

Probably one of the most delicious bacon and egg rolls in Canberra. Was thoroughly pleased! The coffee left a bit to be desired, but in saying that it wasn't bad. Nice places seem to rarely open in Tuggeranong, so I'm glad this place is around!
Come here a lot! Staff are always amazing, coffee is really good! Food is even better and a pretty good price! The pies are delish!
