I had my late husbands wake here yesterday and it was simply fantastic. Annamarie and her staff could not do enough for us. The functions room great large comfortable with a little outdoor terrace. We were made to feel very special and quite honestly we could have not got anywhere more special. At this time of covid restrictions we did have all the track and trace regulations and social distancing, but because the upstairs is very comfortable for 30 and the downstairs is really spacious we all had a safe space. Well done and thank you to a very special lady Annamarie and great support staff.
Very friendly bar staff. This is probably a locals pub but we called in whilst waiting for our pizza order next door and were very pleasantly surprised at the friendly welcome and the comfortable surroundings. The pub clearly caters for a gap in the market providing a DJ and dance floor, Friday and Saturday so that everyone can enjoy weekend in a local establishment. I can't comment on how that is as we only called in around 7.45 but if you do order a pizza next door and fancy a drink while you wait call in, you might be pleasantly surprised
Went for a Christening do for my Great Niece, we were in the function room upstairs. Nicely set up with plenty of things for the children to do. The food was nice too but there weren't enough seats and no real ale! We had to take our dog with us and we were disappointed there was no beer garden.
I organized a surprise 30th birthday party for my sister upstairs, and the venue was lovely and spotless. She was thrilled with the setup. The food was fantastic, and everyone raved about it. I visited for Sunday dinner, and I was impressed by the quick service and excellent food at a great price. I would definitely recommend it!
Good pub, went for a birthday party, decent buffet provided, and you can stay over in your motorhome/ campervan which is a great bonus.

There were Saturday nights filled with friendly bartenders, affordable drink prices, and great music.
