My wife and I dined here recently. We used to go regularly but moved away from the area. Up to usual good standard. Service was good and attentive. Both curries of lamb and chicken were flavoursome and medium as we ordered and the garlic naan was soft and crispy. Not many people at dinner that night so atmosphere was okay but prefer it when a little busier. Overall a nice meal at a fair price,
This restaurant was recommended by friends, although they later said they felt quite sick after eating there! I have spent about 5 months in India on one trip and ate everywhere with little bad effect... Had dinner here and both of us spent the night on the toilet afterwards... maybe a coincidence but , sorry to say it, we thought the food was terrible.
I have given this restaurant so many chances. Have provided constructive feedback yet nothing has changed.I now either dine at or purchase take away from Kasturi in Frankston. This business been a success for 25 years and they deliver to Mount Eliza.The quality of their food is magnificent and definitely worth the $5.00 for delivery.
We loved the food and the service. There is a huge selection of curries to choose from. The Rasoi is BYO, we will definitely be back with a bottle of wine. Had another great meal again always a warm welcome and service with a smile .Asked for advise on how hot a dish was and the lady was spot on ! Really enjoyed my Tuesday nite treat , give it a go!! Not sure what the haters are talking about its always been great !!
Old fashioned service and great food - BYO & great menu - can get a bit noisy due to the concrete flooring but that's ok - more than worth the money for the great food!!! Not many to compare with it in the area....IMO
Sent wrong dish, offered free replacement next order refused to honour, these owners/managers need to read the ACL and comply with legislation, very poor form.
