Food is very good, portions generous, service very good, friendly staff, nice atmosphere, very clean. I ordered the Chicken Milanese which comes with rocket and parmesan salad £19.50) – I don’t like rocket so asked for something else. The waiter suggested having a half portion of pasta pomodro and said I would be charged extra for it! This was £6.50 a side of rocket and parmesan salad costs £6.00. Perhaps he could have offered tenderstem broccoli £6.00) or garlic French beans £5.00) at no extra cost. When I got home I rechecked the bill and saw we were charged £5 for a mixed salad we did not order or get). Felt a bit ripped off.
We wanted a family party for about 35 which was relaxed and informal but did not compromise on the quality of the food or service. The Rising Sun gave us exactly what we were looking for. Great food with a wide choice of dishes and incredibly helpful staff. As promised, the marquee was toasty even in a December blizzard and matched by the atmosphere inside. We would have no hesitation in booking The Rising Sun for a similar event in the future .
The Rising Sun is a great place to stay if you want to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the Norfolk Broads. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, with stunning views of the river and the common. The pub and restaurant serve delicious food and drinks, with a friendly and attentive staff. The Rising Sun is a gem of a place that I would love to visit again.
We have not been to the Rising Sun for a long time and cannot complement Luca and his Team for the great improvements that have taken place. The refurbishment looks great but more importantly the food and service was wonderful A big thank you for a lovely lunch. We will certainly be returning.

Went to the rising sun with a friend that I hadn't seen for a while. Very chilled out pub and good selection of beer. Best thing was at the end of the night they were cleaning the pipes and gave away loads of pints! Also great service.
Phenomenal food, great staff. Lovely evening. Highly recommend the Rising Sun. I would recommend the featured cocktails, My smoky rum with coffee and chocolate was absolutely delicious!
Delicious food and amazing service! We were on a table of 12 people where everything went seamlessly well! nothing was ever too much to ask for (even with 4 kids on the table)!
a really nice pub in london. enjoyed that it was quiet and not rushed. offering a really nice selection of drink and a good menu. nice service too. will visit again

Wonderful service and great food. We visited on a Sunday afternoon and it was packed out but we were seated and served very promptly. Every course was amazing.
First time. Great food and well presented. Let down by poor inexperienced staff. They need to smile and be friendly
