I will start off by saying I have eaten here before and had a good experience which is why I decided to take my family here for a nice dinner they aren’t ones for “upscale” restaurants. My father and I ordered the dry aged ribeye medium rare. The lady GM (Ray I think her name was she had dark hair) dropped off my fathers steak which had a hair sticking out which was almost masked in the overly charred steak both he and I received. I walked to the host stand and brought it to her attention and she apologized and had his steak redone and I also expressed my steak was overly medium and hard as a rock. The steaks were both remade and another manager dropped off my fathers steak asked him to cut...
Terrific food, menu heavy on steak, which is what we we ordered. The only slight negative our Server was just awesome but seemed like she had too many tables so just a tad slower than expected, but she was hustling around making it happen, Great job. Ambiance and quality of the restaurant are simply Top-Notch , hard to believe we were still in Nashville. Prices were high, but that was to be expected. Finally, to all of the foodies... they serve a Beef Hemmingway (a play on Lion Hemmingway) ...and it was out of this world. They also serve a Wellington. Next time will try more of their non-steak offerings. This place is a treasure and we will definitely be back.
We celebrated a birthday at River House and had such a wonderful experience. The food was top notch- we ordered two of The Hemingway (center cut filet in a cognac sauce), one standard 6 ounce filet, and one Beef Wellington. We also got the table side Caesar Salad, Creamed Spinach, and Au Gratin Potatoes. Everything was cooked perfectly. Great service; our server was attentive but didn’t hover. The atmosphere was relaxed yet refined and very cozy. They had a pianist playing fun tunes. 10/10 will be going back again.
Food was delicious. Be aware that they will not provide more than 1 check per table. We went with another couple and when the bill came it was on one bill. They stated the policy was that they cannot provide 2 checks for a table. The best they could do was divide the check 50/50 between 2 credit cards which seems rather odd considering an Applebees can provide 2 checks per table to have each couple pay for their orders. An unneeded inconvenience for an otherwise good meal.

The restaurant has amazing views of the city block on the outskirts of NASH&Broadway, but the overall atmosphere didn't quite capture my attention. We decided to sit at the bar, and while the sushi was average, the bartenders seemed to lack personality and were just going through the motions. The cleanliness and decor were the only things that really stood out to me during our visit.
Went here for dinner and were impressed with entrance. Food was OK and very pricey and bold. Service was a terrible and we felt like we were being thrown out. Overall would not recommend.Kid-friendliness: Would not recommend with kids staff were ignorant and rude.
This restaurant has the best filet mignon we've ever had, and we've tried some really good ones. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was very pleasant. We will absolutely return next time we are in Nashville.
Riverhouse is a hidden gem! The atmosphere is beautiful and the food is amazing - everyone in our party enjoyed their experience. I highly recommend trying the calamari and Chilean seabass.

Dine on 2nd floor... Quieter, less traffic....food was excellent and not over priced.. but remember it is downtown and a little more upscale than Longhorns....
