I decided to visit this restaurant on a whim one Sunday after hearing various opinions about it. Unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. The restaurant appeared shabby and was clearly understaffed. The food was obviously frozen, despite claims of freshness in other reviews. I even spoke with some of the staff who confirmed this. Despite being located by a riverside, there was no fresh fish available. The lighting above our table flickered constantly, and we were overcharged for what was clearly not freshly prepared food. Went for lunch with me mum, very reasonable prices and the food is excellent. More pub lunch than fine dining, which is absolutely fine. Great views of the river boating community!
Great food and dog friendly the first place I've been able to take my dog inside! Would definitely recommend.
