As always brilliant, venue, superb staff and great food. We go there annually for a Christmas family gathering as we are scattered across the southern half of the UK. We always request then snug or side room as it accommodates about 12 of us and we can relax without being overheard. I have no reservations whatsoever in recommending this place.
A hidden gem of a pub and restaurant. Not well known outside of Alcester, but locals all know it for excellent restaurant food at reasonable prices. Friendly staff, table service for drinks and food. Spotlessly clean, well presented to inside. Real wood fires to keep you warm in cooler months. Plenty of free parking.
The staff, service, and meals at Roebuck exceeded our expectations for our family gathering of 19, ranging in age from 6 to 75. We had pre-ordered, which allowed all the meals to be served in a timely manner to both the children's and adult's tables. I highly recommend the gammon steak and the Roebuck burger.
I have dined at the Roebuck many times, and I can confidently say it is a fantastic place. The menu is diverse, and the food is both well-cooked and beautifully presented. Very helpful and friendly staff who served us a delicious freshly made gluten free meal. The best liver and onions I've had for a long time.
