I went there three times, and i loved it! The cocktail are amazing, so well done, a lot of attention was put to make them. The flavours and the combination are unique! i did not find another place in Winnipeg as good for cocktail as...this place! The food was very good as well, they change the menu quite often so you can try different dishes. The staff is really nice, so available also when you ask them for suggestions, very kind people. The general venue is really cool, both in summer with the patio, which i really appreciated, a simple style but charming, and in winter with soft lights! It is a place to go with friends, and it is perfect for dates! I strongly recommend to check this place!
This is my new favourite place! Such a cute rooftop patio that we almost gave up on due to the wait. The drinks were so impressive between the different styles of cups and cute flowers. All unique and not overly sweet like most cocktails. Our...fav was the first one on the menu with vodka and ginger..quite a zing to it! We loved the olives, the cucumber finger sandwiches (also very pretty in presentation) and the Waldorf salad. The staff were lovely and the music playlist made for a perfect night. Can’t wait to go back for more!
Hats off to probably the best bar staff in Canada. Everyone should go in and support this joy of a local business. Zak, Ryan and Elsa bent over backwards for me and Victoria provided impeccable FOH leadership. Always trotting about that one. Outstanding food and...the decor is beautiful. I clearly don’t understand the concept. I think I’m missing something. My drink was watery the food was terrible. We ordered the “cheese plate” got Breton crackers, a dollop of jam, a few grapes cheese slices for Heck no.. will not return. But, it was busy has been around for a while clearly I don’t understand the concept.

This is a super cute and cozy little place that can be hard to find and easy to miss. There is only seating for about inside, but the patio is open in the summer. The food and drink menu changes seasonally and everything is...always a hit! Go for the early or late night happy hours for the best specials.
We met friends here for drinks this past summer. We loved it! Curious what it's like in the winter time as it seemed very cramped and dark... but certainly would go in winter to check it out. Look forward to trying the food next!
Very busy and good for reason! When we finally able to get seats, just let the Mixologist decide on your first drink! Drinks are always tasty and watching them be made is all part of the night at the Roost.
Don’t come here if you’re not local. We live hours away and we’re completely denied service as per the owners because we were not from the area due to covid.

The drinks were original and the patio was hopping. A great and fun roof top patio; hence the name. Cannot comment on food.
