Me and my partner recently visited the salt room. Service was great, was made to feel welcome. At first we were seated in the middle of the restaurant (we were 20 mins early), as we had asked for a romantic seat when we booked our reservation, within 5 minutes we had moved by a seat overlooking the sea that was perfect. In regards to the waiter, he was very accommodating and was able to answer my numerous questions regarding the menu, he had a sense of humour which is rare to find in most waiters/waitresses. Regarding the food... Well well all of the above could of been terrible and I would of still given 5 stars because the food was beautiful. I had the octopus starter which was in a lovely...
We received a warm welcome upon arrival, and the lady at the front desk wished me a happy birthday, which was a lovely touch. We were seated at a nice table, and the waiting staff was attentive and very helpful when we inquired about the menu. The wine list was impressive, and the food was delightful. The restaurant was quite busy, which is unusual for a Tuesday evening, creating a perfect atmosphere.
What a fabulous evening. The staff are brilliant, friendly, funny and helpful and the food. Well, just wow ! The scallops were the best I’ve ever had and the sharing sea bass special was out of this world. We just had to have the show stopper dessert to follow which did not disappoint! Fab evening from start to finish, can’t wait to go back !!
The staff was excellent, and the seafood was amazing and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was great, and the decor had a charming shabby chic style. Although the sea bass and shared starter plate weren't cheap, they were delicious. I would highly recommend this wonderful seafood from our English waters! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Excellent location, very welcoming and attentive staff, food magnificent. We had the sea bass for the main, the waiter took every bone out for us, it was wonderful. Lovely atmosphere for a very memorable birthday, I'd highly recommend this place.
I live and work as a Chef in the Cayman Islands but am from brighton, every time I come back to visit I come to the Salt Room, excellent food and service every time, I highly recommend to family and friends
We went for afternoon tea and it was fabulous The food was amazing Fantastic service My daughter was upset we didn’t get the candy floss with our afternoon tea apart from that would recommend Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
From the bar staff to the waiters/waitresses this restaurant is top notch... Can't praise it is enough! If you find yourself in Brighton come here... You won't be disappointed.
