What a find. The food was outstanding, so tasty and while at the higher end of the price range, it is good value for money. We had 6 dishes in total and each one was wonderful and the wait staff explained the dish to us and advised the way the chef suggested it was eaten. The staff were wonderful, what you expect at a restaurant of this calibre. They were attentive and friendly. The venue itself was nice, it is an old building and it has been made to look modern and suited to a great restaurant, while still welcoming. Went as a group of nine to celebrate my wife’s birthday. There was total agreement and surprise at the quality and flavour of every dish. The Sandbar is a unique and memorable experience. My wife and I travel from Sydney to stay at the Quays Hotel and have dinner at the Sandbar. fascinating, delicious food with wonderful, friendly service.
