I have a couple friend who were looking to stay in Abilene on their way to New Mexico. At the time my new home wasn't finished, 25 miles north out of the way and not an appropriate opportunity for me to host them lodging. They were looking for something nicer than what they could find in Abilene, and they were travelling leisure, so not in a rush and open to lingering around town. I recommended they drive on to Big Spring. However a little out of the way of their NM destination, they loved the Hotel Settles. They timed their trip to arrive at earliest check in so they could freshen up and enjoy dinner at the hotel, lounge and enjoy the ambiance of this classic hotel. They were very impressed...
Hotel and guest Rooms beautiful, very clean, spacious, with marble bathrooms. Not 5 star as rooms have no ceiling fans for air flow. Service at the grill and front desk very good. Not 5 stars because the room service that was advertised was not available. We asked why room service wasn’t available during the hours listed in the materials response from front desk, “I don’t know.” No attempt was made to find a way to meet our request. Disappointing we went without the in room dinner we had planned that evening after an all day drive to get here. Location very convenient on our way to Roswell and Ruidoso.
We live in Tyler and were headed to Ruidoso, New Mexico, so we went a bit out of our way to start here and it was worth it! This is a really cool property. The restaurant and bar are great. We enjoyed the pool. We got a room on a high floor to have the views and would recommend it!
While taking my kids on a trip to New Mexico we stayed at the Hotel Settles. It was wonderful! Everything about the place feels of nostalgia and elegance. The staff were all exceptional and the bar had a selection of drinks that were delicious! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Comfortable hotel. Hot tub and outdoor pool were closed for renovations. It was 100f why couldn’t they have done this earlier in the season. Parking lot was also closed, so had to park several blocks away!
We were treated like royalty! The staff was amazing! The food was out of this world! First class accommodations! We're coming back!
Excellent hotel. Also, Dominator 3 team was staying there last night for the May 30th Tornado risk!!
