On June 6, 2022, I decided to place a call-in order this morning. My order was ready in about five minutes, and I have no complaints about my shake—it was good! However, I was disappointed with the customer service. The staff wasn't very friendly, and since I hadn't been there in a while, I walked straight to the back counter without realizing it was the work area. The employee looked at me like I was crazy, so I asked if they were remodeling, which confused me. He simply said, "No," and kept insisting that I couldn't be back there. Got a protein powder that staff recommended for my girlfriend. She took one serving, a couple hours later starts to break out real bad. I call and ask if there is anyway we can exchange for something plant based, worked tells me yes no problem, I call the next morning to see if there is anything I need to take. Manager tells me he cannot exchange it, and there’s nothing I can do about it. Good products, staff seems okay, it’s the managers that make it hard for local shops to strive.
I love the Shack very much but steeped in to the weslaco location today don’t know if he is a manager or just an employee but there is a guy believe his name is Raul that he treats the other workers there real poorly. I run a business and employees shouldn’t be mistreated
First time trying a protein shake from this place. My daughter recommended one with pineapple and coconut, it was super refreshing and delicious!
