I love coming here I typically get the cornbread and soup or chili. The chili isn’t that great but the cornbread is amazing. However today I veered off my typical order and ordered the crispy chicken salad. Well I literally got lettuce with a sprinkle of cheese and what seemed like one if that strip of chicken chopped up. The chicken was good but the salad as a whole was a complete failure and definitely not worth its $13.99 price I basically paid for probably a quarter of a head of lettuce and one chicken strip. I visited this restaurant early in the morning, so I wasn't expecting exceptional service, but I was pleasantly surprised. While there was a bit of a wait, our waitress was friendly and attentive. My meal didn’t quite suit my taste, but that was more about stepping outside my comfort zone. One thing to note is that the portion sizes are enormous, so be prepared to eat a lot or take some leftovers home. On a positive note, everyone in my group really enjoyed their meals, so don’t be put off by my experience. I definitely recommend checking out this place if you have the opportunity!
I came here early in the morning, so I wasn't expecting great service, but I was surprised. Although the wait time was a little long, our waitress was kind and on top of things. My meal wasn't to my liking, but that's only because I stepped out of my comfort zone. NOTE: the helpings here are HUGE, so be prepared to eat a lot or bring some food home. Another thing, everyone in my company loved their meals, so don't let my experience discourage u. Definitely check this place out when u have the chance!
I can’t even begin to tell you about the service here. I was amazed at our server Michele. She was tentative to us and making sure we were good. Checked on us a couple times it like night and day compared to the one in Groton. There we feel like we’re bothering them and that’s not the way it Should be. You can find a wonderful selection of comforting dishes at this restaurant! The staff is not only friendly but also incredibly attentive. The prices are very reasonable, and the portion sizes are generous and satisfying. The overall atmosphere is warm and inviting. It’s a fantastic diner!
a late review as long as my whole family and I are here. the prices are very fair for the quality of the food served, portion sizes are sizeable and enough to fill up. always save them space for cake or get them a piece or a whole cake to take home. we all tried and they're all good.
my man and I are from new york 1st time here and do not define our last. just wait a short 10 minutes. the staff was very friendly and everyone was at hands. eating was absolutely incredible hands down one of the best breakfast places we have ever made! big job
