The drinks that come out of the shack itself are and have been consistently good but the recent return to serving food was a huge disappointment.The barbecue wasn 't great, pork ribs came out way too smoky, were mealy in spots and the sauce on them wasn 't a good pick, bland and not sweet enough. Similarly, the carnitas was bone dry and over-smoked.The burger is only slightly better than fast food for 3x the price, patties were WAY too thick to be called a smashburger. This Shack at Valley Farm's Market in Spring Valley has changed identity a couple of time, but now they seemed to blended the best of both worlds: A coffee shop and a BBQ house with smashed burgers and tacos.I've been to the shack of a couple of times now. First was for some coffee and an avocado toast. Worst chilaquiles I ever had literally looked like green diarrea in a food container. The green salsa has no other flavor but sour, no salt, or any spices. Horrible over cooked eggs (they are supposed to be over easy .What a waist of $15 dollars.Any taco shop could do way better.
They messed up my order the first time I ordered from there! I was missing both sides with my chicken! The chicken was okay. Nothing special about it! I will try again the second time around.
