A really calm and peaceful restaurant with pretty decor and gorgeous food. The best part was the mains, especially the lamb curry that we had and the chicken jalfrezi. Decent portion sizes and great service. The only disadvantage would be the lack of non alcoholic drink options (mock tails would be lovely) and also for the music to be a bit quieter. I would certainly come here again.
Every time we come back to the UK to visit family, the Shalimar is an absolute must on our agenda. The service is amazing, the team are so friendly (especially with our children), welcoming and knowledgeable. The food is outstanding (must try is the Lamb Handi), portions are generous and the ambiance is very comfortable. Absolutely love the place! Our favourite Indian restaurant.

Came for my birthday the waiters from start to end was lovely very friendly,told them it was my birthday they decorated table put a banner up and brought me out a cake
Amazing the best Indian there is out. So lovely staff can’t do enough to help you. Very clean restaurant would definitely recommend to anyone.
Excellent meal as always and great service. Tandoori prawns were fabulous with a desi sauce. A great korma too. We’ll be back!
