This is one of my top 25 restaurants of all time. It doesn't matter what you order. The homemade bread, crushed potatoes, pickled veggies, perfected peppers, delicious bread pudding, will make you have an out of body experience, and please make sure to order a steak because you owe it to yourself. It's perfect.I'll shut up now and demand you visit the shambles or you'll miss out. It just isn't the food that's worth the trip, but the great staff and atmosphere provide a welcoming at home experience.They know what they are doing and provide a deep level knowledge and apply it. Great bourbon selection along with excellent cocktails just add to the great experience already.
Amazing meat that is always delicious but changes enough that I love to go back. The cocktail menu also rotates at a good pace. It's a good mix of tried and true classics with some new interesting drinks to try. Easily my favorite steak restaurant in Seattle.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendlyParking: Limited parking in restaurant parking lot. But plenty of street parking in nearby neighborhood.Wheelchair accessibility: Easily wheelchair accessible. Main door is ground level, no stairs to dining area from parking.Dietary restrictions: Steak is prominent in the menu. I would not recommend for vegetarians.
We had a staff glitch upon arrival and the owner, Becky, made tremendous effort to come outside and find us and make the situation right. We are SO glad we dined here. The meal, as always, was memorable and delicious. Four of us enjoyed the charcuterie board (fantastic! and some lovely mains. Beverage choices were excellent and dessert somehow squeezed into full stomachs. The character board and pulled pork sandwich were highlights of all choices. No matter what we tried we were very happy. Thanks Becky, remarkable service recovery on your part.
Amazing from start to finish, apps to dessert. I can't remember ever having a better burger than this one. The wagyu bavette was also perfectly seasoned and cooked. It didn't need the sauces, but they made it even better. Great cocktails and dessert to boot. Make the trip to this place. Go for a walk up at the park after, to burn off some of the meat and booze. You will not regret it.
