We went to this spot a few times when it originally opened it, and it was a one-of-a-kind joint with mouth-watering selections for any omnivore.First time under the new ownership was not great. The food was still really good, but we waited an hour and fifteen minutes for it, then my wife's entree showed up, followed a few minutes later by our appetizer. 10 more minutes go by. Only after finding our server and asking if/when my dinner would arrive, did it finally show. Meanwhile, the folks at the next table sat down after us, ordered before us, got their food WAY before us, and left as I was starting to eat. Food was delicious. Filet was the best I've ever had. Caesar salad was delicious. Potatoes weee not very good. Prices were very high. All dishes have to be ordered separately from meat, except sandwiches. Not everyone in our party liked their meal. Those that ordered sandwiches were not very impressed with flavor for the price. Service was very good. Overall, I'd be back for a special occasion when feeling like I have some serious money to spend.
Amazing from start to finish, apps to dessert. I can't remember ever having a better burger than this one. The wagyu bavette was also perfectly seasoned and cooked. It didn't need the sauces, but they made it even better. Great cocktails and dessert to boot. Make the trip to this place. Go for a walk up at the park after, to burn off some of the meat and booze. You will not regret it.
Amazing steaks. Simply the best I've had. A wide variety with changes every day and a staff that is consistently friendly, knowledgeable and enjoyable to hang out with. Highly recommend if you're looking for a great steak experience. My wife and I have been going for the last 6 months just to try such a wide variety of steaks and develop a better appreciation. I
This place does it right! The tap and cocktail selection is excellent and the food all time! We came through with a group of 6 and they were very accommodating. The staff is friendly and genuine and the vibe is relaxing and casual. We’ll be back for sure and I’d recommend it to anyone!
Probably one of the best steaks I 've ever had. Got the Wagyu Bavette, was darn near fork tender, and the foraged mushrooms were just fabulous with the cured egg yolk. The signature cocktail The Shambles Nut is a must have to go with such a fine meal. I will return.Food: 5/5
The owners are wonderful people who truly care about the quality of food they are serving. They have premium quality meats and a great drink selection. All of the side dishes are fantastic. And you truly can’t beat the service anywhere.
Cool room, excellent beer selection, impressive board of meats to choose from. Only regret was not having enough time to get the cote de boeuf.
Really enjoyed my ribeye steak and loved the foraged mushrooms. Service was great too! I will definitely return.
