We ordered a pizza from their very limited range. By the time it came (45 Minutes? we'd finished our drinks and were thinking of cancelling our order. The pizza itself looked and tasted if it had been done in a microwave although they claim a pizza oven. The topping was so thin it just tasted of the dough. It and the drinks were very expensive the prices are much higher than the Three Stags or the Tankard which are nearby. We then (stupid us ordered a small dessert to share. We again waited so long we tried to cancel the order but this wasn't forthcoming. In the end we left having paid for a dessert we didn't receive. The place was almost empty and we could see why. I used to come here a lot...
Such a delight to find a bar in London with genuinely happy and attentive staff. We were treated with smiles and banter throughout our visit. Emma (Our server was super patient with the children and treated them like royalty! Excellent food (especially the pizzas! great drinks all in a clean and ‘covid-safe’ environment. The manager (Carl? was knowledgable and friendly and clearly runs a tight ship. Can’t wait to come back without the kids and get stuck into that Gin collection! Thanks for such a great afternoon!
I had visited the ship previously and it seemed like a vibrant and warm space with a close knit staff body, which made it really easy to eat, drink and have fun here. Upon returning this week, I’ve discovered that they’ve fired multiple staff on the run up to Christmas, because they had apparently employed too many member of staff. I don’t see how that’s possible and it simply sounds like greed or ignorance towards their staff if you ask me! I won’t be returning anytime soon.

I cannot recommend the accommodation and good enough- incredible value for the quality and standard. Lovely staff and service, impeccable- this is my go to place to stay and eat when I am in London.

Very welcoming pub. Great service. The pizzas are amazingly good. We really enjoyed our drinks and meal plus a lovely chat with the waitress.
