Despite living about 2 miles away, we 'd never actually been to the Ship Inn even though we 'd been recommended it several times. So when family came to visit us, we took the opportunity and went. It 's a lovely setting, in the village square, with a nice church opposite. We were spoilt for choice with the menu. My brother-in-law and mother-in-law both saying they could eat everything on the menu and were having a hard time picking.
