Obsessed with The Shrimp Box. Their staff always make an attempt to sit everyone by the windows, which is really thoughtful. I love watching the boats come in and out of the bay. I 've never sat outside, but would like to this summer. Prices are amazing for The Sunset Dinner . I always have leftovers and bring the dessert home. I 've tried many things off The Sunset Dinner menu, and have never been disappointed. The photos are of the half-stuffed lobster, the flounder francese, and the broiled flounder (not pictured is the amazing bread, calamari, New England Clam Chowder, salad, chocolate cake, and apple crumb cake). Service is quick and friendly. Thanks for making special days more special...
The restaurant offers an amazing view with both outdoor and indoor seating options. We only had to wait less than 10 minutes for a table for two, even in a crowded setting, which was impressive. However, parking is a bit challenging; you may need to circle the area a few times to find a spot. The service left something to be desired, as we waited 15 minutes before having to ask for our waiter without any initial greeting or drink orders taken. The food was decent, but somewhat expensive. Overall, I would still recommend giving it a try.
One of my favorite lunch spots near the inlet. Everything we ordered was good New England clam chowder was on point! We got to dinner early around 445p and were able to order off the sunset menu which has great deals, you get a meal for a reduced priced and it comes with soup/ salad, coffee, dessert, really can't beat it. Salmon, Mahi, fish and chips were all excellent. I order fish and chips from a ton of places and they do it right here. Will definitely be coming back next time I'm in the area.
My family enjoyed our time celebrating Father 's Day the day before, and had a wonderful time. I got the Filet Mignon and Shrimp Cocktail which were both delicious. We got to eat outside and have a great view of the ships and water. The menu can be as reasonable as you want to make it depending on what you order. My family and cousins visited this restaurant, and we had a fantastic time! The atmosphere and food were wonderful, and the view was absolutely beautiful—I loved watching the boats pass by. For my meal, I ordered coconut shrimp, rice, and vegetables, all of which were delicious! I also tried the rice pudding for dessert, and it was really tasty as well!
It’s been years since I’ve been back to the shrimp box. Spectacular homecoming. The modernized decor and menu make it a number one spot on the shore. Can’t wait for my next visit. Everything was impeccable along with the amazing drink. Highly recommend the island smoke if you are a Mezcal fan. Fabulous.
I absolutely adore this charming little restaurant, both inside and out! They serve fantastic, fresh seafood dishes all year long, and dining outdoors while soaking up the sun and enjoying the breeze by the water is simply delightful. I highly recommend it!

We enjoyed very good seafood meals. We ordered off the Sunset Dinners section of the menu, which provided soup or salad, beverage, and dessert with our meal. We loved sitting by the windows with the picturesque views of the Inlet.
