I was very disappointed in my experience. I brought my mentor all the way from Brampton to be let down. Over the years I heard that this place was top tier dining in Oshawa. Not at all. First the service was abysmal. Our waitress was better suited for a coffee diner. She was not very pleasant, actually rude. Not prompt or thorough. She sat all of the patrons in one tight area around the front bar as opposed to spreading us out for privacy. My view was the front door and the cooking area. I was not impressed by that. The cooks were wearing baseball caps with various sports teams emblazoned. Not professional in my opinion. They had miserable demeanors as did the rest of the staff in the buildi...
My best friend found this amazing restaurant in the 3weeks we had to plan our wedding. From the moment we walked in the door, both Chef Andrew and Wanda were amazing. We had tried another restaurant and were disappointed, which we shared during a dinner to check it out. Wanda spent time chatting with us, and told us “once you try the food, you’ll be booking your wedding dinner”. Boy was she right! Aside from feeling like home the food and care that goes into the food is spectacular. We booked for our wedding dinner a few short weeks later. Wow, what a night. We had such an amazing experience tonight!! The 5 of us had Chantal as our waitress and she was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. She was always present without being over bearing and made our dining experience so much more enjoyable.The food was top notch!! Oysters were tasty, octopus was fantastic, crab Rangoon, Brie, drinks, scallops, lamb, ALL to die for.The only sad part about our experience is that we didn’t have enough room for the entire menu!!100% recommend going to this restaurant for top tier seafood and service.We will be back!
Waited 2 hours for our food, no bread given and our one appetizer was given to us an hour after seated. Tables around us were served and finished before we even received our main. After another hour of waiting for our main At this point we paid for our app and left. The television was also showcasing extremely racist programming, with old 1920s shows being shown which heavily showcased characters using “black face” and other figures. 25 years ago this was a restaurant we loved, we lived closer, Today we returned with friends to celebrate our anniversary ! It was wonderful! Beet salad was super, several different varieties of beets done in several different ways! Steamed, raw, chips! Perfect goat cheese fritters, raspberry accompaniments! Scallops with bacon jam! Yum! Pickeral, black cod all delicious with fresh well prepared vegetables! So ice!
Another wonderful evening at shrimp cocktail. It's so nice when the server remembers you. It's such a lovely atmosphere and the team are wonderful. As we had dinner we reminisced over the menu changes and all the wonderful meals there! Tonight shrimp tacos, crab dip, lake pickerel, seafood linguini and the most wonderful crem Brule. Our favorite place, oshawa's little gem! Thank you as always!
I have gone there once, and the food was really good. It is a little bit more on the pricier side but the service in the atmosphere makes up for it. The waiter was really good and all of the staff that attended us was very helpful and nice.Parking: Attached to a Plaza, so there is a lot of parking
