I was thrilled to have this dining option available. Although I don't have any dietary restrictions, my partner does, so I was excited to accompany him and try this place out. I ordered The Fun Guy, which is a sandwich made with portobello mushrooms. It was delicious and satisfying, though I had some trouble with the texture of the bread—it tasted fine but crumbled like cornbread. My partner really enjoyed the chicken and waffle sandwich. He loved it, and I tried a bit of the waffle and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. We also shared a carrot cake, which vanished in just a minute or two. It was so good! We decided to get the lasagna to go, which will save us from having to drive...
I had one of the best gluten-free dining experiences ever! During a road trip, my friends and I stopped by for brunch, and all five of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We even picked up some treats and fried chicken to take with us. The chicken and waffles were exceptional! We will definitely return, and next time we plan to explore the extensive selection of gluten-free beers and the fish fry. I wish we could have a Silly Axe Cafe in Wisconsin!
We were thrilled to try The Silly Axe, especially since both of my daughters have celiac disease, and dining out can often be a challenge. This time, however, we were able to relax completely, share our dishes, and enjoy dinner without any worries. We tried the Monte Cristo, club sandwich, and chicken bacon quesadilla, and all of them were outstanding! We will definitely be returning customers!
I discovered this restaurant on Google while planning my trip to Louisville from Florida, and I’m so glad I did! The food was outstanding—these chicken tacos were simply incredible! After following the Café for two years, I finally had the chance to visit while in Louisville for business. I had to stop by for lunch on my way home. I ordered a turkey burger to enjoy outside and picked up a slice of cookies and cream cake to savor later at home. I really wish I lived closer so I could come here more often!
I had the Bahn Minh meatball sandwich with a side ginger salad today. Both were very tasty, not too spicy and great flavor. I feel a little like part of the Cafe family with the steady stream of positive and informative communications from Chef Angela.
We ordered the amazing dairy free cookies and cream cake as cupcakes for my son’s birthday. No one could believe they were gluten and dairy free. Best cupcakes ever!
