Not long after placing my order, I returned to the counter to change it because I discovered that one of the items contained an ingredient I am allergic to. The young man who took my initial order remarked that I should have mentioned my allergies at the time of ordering. While he did modify my order, his comment came across as somewhat rude. Still, I decided to let it slide as he had a point—I should have mentioned my allergies, even if it wasn't immediately clear to me that the ingredient would be included. This isn’t my first time eating here and usually it’s pretty good food and service. This time the service was pretty good but the food was questionable considering my sister found a wood chip in her salad. Skinny is my go-to spot for breakfast or lunch whenever I'm in Montpelier. It's conveniently located next to the Artisans Hand Craft Gallery. Despite the challenges posed by the July flood, Skinny provided free meals to all the workers involved in the downtown Montpelier flood cleanup. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5.
I recently visited this lovely café and I can't say enough good things about it. Don't let its small size fool you; their crepes are absolutely amazing! The service, delivered with a smile, is exceptional as well. I highly recommend this charming spot in downtown Montpelier.

My friend and I had the brie, apple and blueberry jam crepe, and it was delicious! There was plenty of seating, service was quick and skinny pancake never fails to please! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The chicken pesto crepe was delightful, but the coffee was quite ordinary. I would consider returning to enjoy a craft beer, or perhaps the London Fog tea instead.
